Pastor Jack and Lady Franzetta Harris are the co-founders of the New Life Christian Center, where they believe that God has called them to “pick up the broken pieces, so that nothing be lost” (John 6:12). They are people who have a servant’s heart, and desire to please God in all that they do, of which both have an extensive knowledge of ministry experience beginning from their childhoods. They were both reared in church and served in different capacities within the church and the community.

Pastor Harris served over 22 years in the US Army before retiring with a Meritorious Service Medal (MSM). He was stationed in Texas and Europe for a majority of his career and attended missions in Bosnia, Kosovo, and Korea. Throughout his military tenor, he learned other valuable skills that prepared him for ministry and pastoral service. He has a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Biblical Studies and Family Counseling, a Masters in Christian Ministry from Liberty University, and currently pursuing his doctorate in ministry.

Lady Harris is a woman of God with a heart for the Kingdom, she is the Co-Pastor and Praise Leader at NLCC. She is a Chapel Leader at the Union Gospel Ministry, Outreach Coordinator, and Hospice Minister. Lady Harris has fashioned her life in empowering people to be leaders and take charge of their destiny. She has served as business administrator to several corporations.

Lady Harris is a successful business owner of “Stepping in a New Direction”. Stepping in a New Direction is not only a business but it is a fully staffed ministry with a chaplain, medical professionals, and counselors. She stands firmly on Proverbs 31:25 She is clothes with strength and dignity, and she can laugh at all the days to come.

Pastor and Lady Harris have five adult children, one preteen, and six grandchildren.
